Privacy Policy
1. Registration data
This website will request personal details from you when you register for membership of this site. We are very serious about respecting your privacy and we promise we will NEVER share these details outside of the ONEtribe for any reason whatsoever. We will use this data for legitimate Tribe business, such as contacting you to keep you informed of events and happenings and assigning you to an appropriate Pod, etc.
2. Purchase data
All purchases are processed off-site by PayPal and, as such, PayPal collects and processes that information in accordance with their own strict and robust privacy policies. The data that PayPal shares with us is what is required for us to complete the transaction. Again, we are very serious about respecting your privacy and we promise we will NEVER share this data with any other party for any reason whatsoever. We will use this data only to process your purchase.
Sales Policy
Tribe Membership Sales Policy
Membership of the One New Earth Tribe is sold on this site. The sales process is as follows: Once you have successfully completed the associated PayPal transaction, we will confirm your purchase via email and invite you to register on the website to begin accessing your Tribe materials.
In every instance we will only send you your confirmation email after receiving an automatic email alert of your successful transaction. This might mean a delay between the moment of your transaction and the moment when you receive your purchase. It is our policy to endeavour to send you your confirmation email within 24 hours of the transaction. If this has not happened, please check your SPAM folder first. Failing that, then please do contact us!
Digital Items Sales Policy
Digital or "downloadable" items, including e-books, audio files and image files, may be sold on this site. The sales process is as follows: Once you have successfully completed the associated PayPal transaction, we will send you your purchase via email.
In some instances, the product is composed of many parts and you will be sent a link to an access page where all the materials are collected.
In some instances the purchased files are larger than email severs will permit. In such instances you will be emailed a download link.
In every instance we will only send you your purchased items after we have received an automatic email alert of your successful transaction. This might mean a delay between the moment of your transaction and the moment when you receive your purchase. It is our policy to endeavour to send you your confirmation email within 24 hours of the transaction. If this has not happened, please check your SPAM folder first. Physical Items Sales Policy
Physical items that need to be mailed to you (typically paperback books) may also be sold on this site. The sales process is as follows: Once you have successfully completed the associated PayPal transaction, we will process your order with our distributors and the item will be sent to you via the mail system. As soon as we have processed your order, we will email you to confirm this fact.
Where possible you are offered the choice between "economy mail" and "premium mail":
Economy Mail
This is normal surface mail. There is no tracking and no insurance offered with this option. It is, however, significantly cheaper. If you choose this option then there is no possibility of making any guarantees whatsoever regarding how long the item will take to get to you or, indeed that it will get to you at all. The risk is entirely your own. It is, however, my experience that, though slower, normal mail is very reliable and worth it for the significantly lower cost. Unless you really want your item quickly and feel you can afford premium, we would actually recommend economy.
Premium Mail
This is parcel post with tracking and insurance and is 100% guaranteed: you WILL get your item. If it is lost it will be replaced at no cost to you. Which is very nice but also quite expensive. Sometimes the price of shipping is nearly as much as the item itself. If you are willing to pay the extra amount for the shipping, then this option is available to you. If you do choose this option, then you are welcome to contact us for the parcel tracking number and also to let us know if there are any problems with your delivery.
Live Interactions Sales Policy
Live interaction in which coaching, consultative and healing services are offered, may also be purchased on this site. The sales process is as follows: Once you have successfully completed the associated PayPal transaction, we will contact you via email to send you a link to the relevant online calendar so that you might book the time your have purchased with the practitioner.
Live interactions happen via an app such as Zoom. The onus is upon you to ensure that you have the relevant communications app installed, that you know how to use it, and that you are available at the time scheduled.
Life can be unpredictable sometimes and so, if it should happen that you are, for any reason whatsoever, unable to attend the appointment, we will wait until the first 15 minutes of the appointment have elapsed before sending you an email inviting you to reschedule.
In the event that you are experiencing technical difficulties and are unable to connect, the same principle will apply. We will allow 15 minutes to elapse before inviting you to reschedule.
If the rescheduled appointment is also abortive you will forfeit the cost of the session. The practitioner may, without prejudice, decide to offer you another alternative.
We offer you similar terms in return: If a practitioner is unable to make an appointment with you, they will, at the very earliest opportunity, alert you to this fact and request a reschedule. That said, however, it can happen that, for reasons beyond their control, a practitioner may be unable to attend a live session and also unable to offer you advance warning. In such an instance they will, as soon as they are able, communicate with you, requesting a reschedule. Should a practitioner not appear for two consecutive sessions without advance warning and without rescheduling, they will offer you an additional session free as compensation for your time wasted or your money back, as you prefer.
While practitioners will always do their utmost to offer you the very best that they are able, we can offer no guarantees as to what might be accomplished in live interaction sessions. Practitioners can only offer guidance and direction. The responsibility for your healing, change, growth and transformation lies with you. When you purchase a session with a practitioner, what you are paying for is their time.
Returns and Refunds Policy
Since:
1. We are not able to accept the return of physical items (such as books).
2. Digital items are inherently not returnable.
3. The time and energy involved in a live interaction with a practitioner is not returnable.
4. Payments for Tribe Membership is your financial commitment to a year-long process, to which the rest of the Tribe is also committed.
We therefore have a "no returns/ no refunds" policy.
That said, should we, in exceptional circumstances, at our sole discretion, and without prejudice, decide to offer any refund, the following will apply:
A refund offered within 30 days of purchase will incur a 10% administrative fee.
A refund offered after 30 days of purchase will incur a 20% fee, due to the additional banking and forex costs for moving money into South Africa and back out again (South Africa has exchange controls in place which cause costs to be incurred).
